After completing general surgery training in North Carolina, he pursued advanced plastic surgery fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital. His career has been defined by a deep commitment to precision, natural-looking results, and minimally invasive techniques.

At the Charlotte Gynecomastia Center, Dr. Ditesheim offers one of the most advanced male breast reduction procedures in the Southeast. Education

Dr. Ditesheim’s academic journey began at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts and earned membership in Phi Beta Kappa, one of the nation’s most prestigious honor societies.

He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from the New York University School of Medicine and Bellevue Hospital, one of the top medical programs in the country, where he built a strong foundation in anatomy, surgical skill, and clinical decision-making.

His passion for reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery led him to a competitive fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School.

This elite training gave him the technical expertise and aesthetic judgment needed to develop his advanced approach to male breast reduction, which he now offers to patients at the Charlotte Gynecomastia Center.
